The Black Lawyers Association stands for the profession's economic justice and for the transformation of the judiciary. The organisation's focus is that of empowering the black lawyer however the organisation is non-racial and membership is open to all those who believe in what it stands for.

Apply for Membership

Would you like to join the BLA? You can apply for membership by completing the following steps:

1. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD APPLICATION FORM.
 
2. Complete the application form with the correct or current details and then email the form to membership@bla.org.za Your application will be processed and once approved, our membership administrator will send you an invoice.

3. Use the reference number on the invoice when making a payment into the account specified on the invoice. Once the payment has been made your membership number will be sent via email.

NB: Please make sure that you supply the correct or active email address and cell number because this will be our main method of communication.

If you are in possession of a membership number, you do not need to re-apply. Click here to see if your are registered on the BLA database. If you are, you will receive an invoice automatically in due course for the renewal of your membership.
