The BLA - LEC has been conducting a 13 - week course in Commercial Law Practice since 2004. The classes are conducted from Mondays to Thursdays from 17H30 to 20H00.

To date we have trained over 570 attorneys since inception in 2004. In 2012 the course will be held in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Eastern Cape and Mpumalanga.

Topics Covered:

• Purchase and Sale Agreements.
• Drafting of Contracts.
• Specific contracts such as Financial Agreements and Structures, Shareholders' Agreements, Agency, Distributor, Licensing and Franchise Agreements
• Specific transactions such as Joint Ventures, Initial Public Offerings and Stock Exchange Listing, Mergers and Acquisitions, Project Finance and Public Private Partnerships.
• Dispute Resolutions.
